Aronofsky Helms Chilling Meth PSAs
Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky teamed with Wild Plum and agency Organic to produce four haunting PSA to promote the Meth Project's anti-drug message.
The Black Swan helmer brought his gritty and dark cinematic sensibilies to the spots, which feature such horrors as teen suicide, prostitution, and physical abuse as a result of meth addiction. The spots have a graphic reality to them, that lends themselves well to the no-holds-barred approach of the organization.
So far, the spots have been recognized in such outlets as The Hollywood Reporter, Creativity, ABC News, CBS News, among others.
